The Criotec factory has been producing top quality refrigeration products worldwide for years for huge companies like Coca-Cola, Heineken and Pepsi.These high-quality units are made out of steel and feature a special high-resistance exterior cabinet to withstand the rigorous outdoor weather conditions they get subjected to. The solid, self-closing door ensures a tight seal for minimum temperature loss along with a safety lock so you can secure the bags of ice overnight without worry. The door is also extra wide to provide easy access for replenishing stock. (Please note a GLASS-DOOR option for inside-store usage is available. This option costs $200 extra.)These units use European-made compressors by Embraco or Danfoss and feature a low-maintenance condenser with interior drainage system. The cold wall cooling system helps the unit maintain a uniform 14F - 21F degree temperature range to ensure the ice cubes stay at the right holding temps without freezing into 1 huge cube.This entire line of Alamo bagged ice merchandisers is DUAL ETL approved for both electrics AND sanitation to meet NSF standards and therefore is 100% guaranteed to be approved for commercial use anywhere in the entire USA. It runs off of standard 120V electricity, producing 1/3 horsepower and draws only 3.5 amps of electricity, consuming 4.231 KWh per 24 hours. It uses R-134a environmentally-friendly refrigerant.
