This elegant shape has been studied to obtain a uniform heat distribution with minimal wood consumption, while the 2in thick Natural Soapstone Cooking Surface is a baked refractory slab that has a high thermal resistance to resist abrasions caused by cooking utensils. Soap-stone can absorb, store and evenly radiate heat due to its high density and magnesite (MgCO3). The steel supplied keeps the prefabricated parts of the oven united during normal thermal expansion. The small door closure avoids heat loss and measures 22in, and has the ability to be removed during operation. Also included with your purchase is a pizza peel for easy transfer of your fresh made pies.This beautifully designed oven is mounted upon a portable tray stand that sits atop 4 castor wheels, 2 of which are lockable for ensured sturdiness.
