 Lalique and Peugeot join efforts one more time to reproduce the 1924 Design: Feuilles. With technology and precise craftmanship of 15 artisans from Lalique, the reproduction of the leaves from the original model became possible. Creating this model, available in salt and pepper, requited meticulous attention when installing the Peugeot milling mechanisms within the crystal masterpiece.Clear crystal bodyPepper mill mechanism features an individually cut helix-shaped grooves that act like claws which trap and hold the peppercorns as they are cracked. The claws guide the cracked pepper to the mill's teeth, which grind the pepper to the desired consistency as set by the user Mechanism made of case-harded and treated steel to protect against wear and corrosion The two rows of helicoidal grooves on the mechanism are individually cut into the metal, then case hardened, making them perpetually razor sharp and virtually indestructibleSalt Mill Mechanism made of wear-resistant high-quality stainless steel alloy that is specifically coated to provide further protection from the salt corrosion Designed specifically to be used with large sea salt crystals that are milled to the desired size.
